The 18-hole course

Every putt has a story.

A classic outdoor mini golf and pitch-and-putt experience shaped by gentle slopes, testing lines and the natural character of Princes Park.

Friendly to learn, rewarding to master

The Princes Park course is designed for a proper round of mini golf rather than a themed crazy golf experience. Across eighteen outdoor holes, players follow the contours of the greens, judge the pace of each putt and discover that a gentle touch often travels farther than expected. New players can start straight away, while more experienced golfers will still find plenty of opportunities to think about angle, speed and position.

Each hole has its own rhythm. Some reward a direct approach; others invite you to use the shape of the green and leave the ball in a good place for the next shot. That balance keeps a family game enjoyable even when ages and abilities are mixed. Children can celebrate every successful putt, adults can chase a lower score, and grandparents can join the same round without the experience feeling too fast or complicated.

Set in the green heart of Princes Park

Part of the pleasure is simply being outside. Princes Park gives the course a spacious, leafy backdrop near Eastbourne’s seafront, with the lake and open lawns close by. A round can become the centrepiece of a relaxed park visit: take a walk, play eighteen holes, stop at the clubhouse and enjoy the rest of the day without rushing between attractions.

The course is exposed to real Eastbourne weather, which is part of its character but also means opening can change when conditions are unsuitable. If you are travelling especially to play, the best approach is to check the latest opening information or call the team before you set off.

Everything you need is here

Club hire is included in the admission price, and players use the course’s own golf balls, so there is no equipment list to remember. Pick up what you need at the clubhouse, keep score if you fancy a little competition, and return everything when the final putt drops. There are no age restrictions and no need to reserve a tee time in advance. The course operates on a first-come, first-served basis, and the relaxed format makes it easy to join the fun.

For the smoothest round, wear comfortable shoes, allow everyone space to finish each hole and let faster groups move ahead when practical. Most importantly, enjoy the small victories: the long putt that somehow stays on line, the lucky rebound and the family member who quietly becomes the one to beat.
